- Find a Driving Instructor. Demand is very high for driving instructors at the moment with many managing waiting lists or saying they are full. The best place to find driving instructors in your area is from the .gov.uk website https://www.gov.uk/find-driving-schools-and-lessons or you could Google Driving Instructors near me for a list of local Instructors and driving schools. Check their reviews to see who you are dealing with, a good Instructor will stand out with their positive feedback. Be cautious as there are some third party websites that will charge you a premium price for Intensive courses but they just act as agents and will try to find a driving instructor who will be paid less than you are paying for the course. Cut out the middle man and you could save £££. When you contact the driving instructors mention that you have passed your theory test, any driving experience you may have already and what availability you have for lessons as all of these may be taken into account when scheduling their diaries.

- Before confirming your test you must make sure you will be ready for your test. Check with your instructor when they think you may be ready and when they would be available to take you on test. Some instructors update the booking system with their availability which makes this easier but you will need to know their ADI number when booking.
