I have had an incredibly stressful and difficult driving experience over the last 4 years, with 2 failed tests, a bad examiner experience, the impact of Covid and a few bad instructors, and I was really ready to give up on it all together as my confidence was completely knocked. That’s until my partner told me I should really get back into it as I really wanted to be able to drive, and that’s when he found Chris at Driving Skills Academy. Right from the get go Chris was incredibly keen to help after hearing my story and was able to fit me in straight away. I felt at ease immediately with Chris, and over the course of 17 hours my confidence grew immensely. He taught me how to drive rather than how to pass a test, allowed me to find my own safe style of driving rather than following a strict routine and stamped out any fears of the driving test I had. I was then able to pass my test on my first attempt with Chris and feel at ease doing so. I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough and I can not express how happy and confident I feel with my driving now and I will forever be thankful to Chris for finally helping me get that driving freedom I had been so desperate for. I am also very thankful to Fernando! (Chris’s car!)
