Will your driving test go ahead in Tier 3?
The good news is that Car Practical Driving tests are still going ahead in Tier 3. The bad news is that the number of driving tests that each examiner is able to do will be reduced from 6 to 5 Driving tests per day.
This means if you have a driving test booked within a Tier 3 restricted area, there is a small chance that it will be cancelled or moved to another date.
Also if you are exempt from wearing a facemask then your test may need to be rescheduled to a time when the area is no longer Tier 3.
IMPORTANT: If you are living in a Tier 4 area then you cannot travel to a lower Tier for a Driving Test or Driving Lessons
The DVSA will advise you or your driving instructor (if they booked it on your behalf) if your test is rescheduled.
