This week we heard the sad news that Danni (One of our Driving Instructors) lost her Mum. The picture on this post shows what a fun loving person she was. She had been battling Alzheimer’s and what the disease hadn’t taken already, clung on for as long as she could.
Danni is doing a memory walk in Milton Keynes to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society which is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. This was planned before Dannis’ Mum passed away and so will be an emotional walk for her.
Until the day we find a cure, the society aims to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported, accepted and able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
